What a remarkable lady, 1988 when I visited Canada through the Junior Farmers of Ontario and the Scottish Association of Young Farmers and a few years later Audrey came and visited us here.
The determination, strength and compassion Audrey showed in everything she did was amazing, nothing would stop her!!!
It has been so lovely keeping in touch over these 38 years and how the families have grown.
Thinking of all Audrey’s family and friends at this sad time.
With deepest sympathy

To the Hewitt and Ritchie families, what wonderful memories you will have of this special lady. Audrey was alway so friendly with a ready smile and wave. We send our sympathy to you all.
Many great memories of our Australian Junior Farmer trip to Australia...many moons ago. I still have memories of seeing Audrey being bounced in her wheelchair quickly back to the bus...being chaced by a sand storm. She was game to participate in everything the adventure had to offer.
Audrey will always hold a very special place in my heart. I had the privilege of staying with her during my Scottish Young Farmers exchange to Ontario in 1987, and she was the most wonderful host. Her warmth, kindness and determination shone through in everything she did, and she never once let her disability hold her back. I will always remember her strength, generosity and the welcome she gave me all those years ago. Thinking of all her friends and family at this difficult time.
She was really a miracle to behold and she was such a busy lady! Well done Audrey may you rest in Peace .Our sincere sympathy to all her family .Keeping you in our prayers.

Our sincere sympathies to all of Audrey’ family on her passing!!!!
When we first met Audrey at Jr Farmer events she was such a shy and quiet person. Then came the opportunity to travel to Hawaii, Australia, New Zealand and Figi!!!
We talked her into going. She was afraid she would never get around. We promised her she would be helped whenever needed. I don’t think Audrey missed anything!!! We dragged her through sand, up mountains and threw her around the dance floor!!!
She had the time of her life, as we all did!!!
Came home willing to try anything, and in search of a new wheel, must have been close to done before we left!!! Could not have anything to do with how it was treated!!!!
We will miss you Audrey, hopefully you are dancing to Maneater!!!!
