To Elaine's and Ross's family, Our sincere sympathies and warm hugs to you all. We had a lovely chat with Elaine at Ross's celebration- She was sharp as a tack and proud of her fitness and age. Through nearly 50 years our family knew them both through the Agricultural Society, through Brookside, and through Square Dancing- Elaine's wit and smile were always a delight. with love and caring, Sheila and family (and Ian will welcome them both with tea :)

My sympathy to all of Elaine's family. Ross and Elaine were special friends to my parents, Clarence and Alice Ritchie for many years.
Our parents shared a common love of modern square dancing, games, travel and supporting their community. That meant we kids spent a lot of time together as our parents took on various adventures like our trips to K-W and Hi-Way Market. Elaine always greeted me with a smile. She had a quick sense of humour that kept us all at ease and laughing. She was kind, fair and respectful of everyone. But above all, she valued family and loved all her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. I admired her positivity that she continued to share when I spoke with her at her last birthday. May she be blessed with peace as she reunites with Ross, family members and her friends.
Our sincere condolences to all of Elaine's family, as you mourn the loss of a wonderful woman. She made such an impact on all of our community, as she contributed to many groups, and always with a smile.
