I'm sorry to learn of Nelson's passing. He helped me with spark plugs for a dirt bike to shear pin for snowblower. So very knowledgeable about all makes of machinery small and not so small ... a dedicated and decent businessman to talk with.
My sincere condolences to all of Nelson's family.
For more than 40 years I’d go to see Nelson whenever my lawnmower threw up its problems. I always left, not only with the problems fixed, but with an interesting story from his very varied life. From his time in the armed services to Kincardine’s early years I’d always leave feeling a little better than when I went.
He was truly unique and a really good soul. Kincardine will be a lot poorer for his passing.
My sincere condolences go to his family.

Nelson was the King of Small Engines! He serviced my Dad's saws for his whole career, and kept my Mom's lawnmowers (and mine) running since the 80s. He was such a character, and I cherished the visits to his shop. Peace Nelson, I hope Peter keeps your loyal customers tuned up in the future!
My condolences to the family on one of the nicest and smartest persons I have ever had the opportunity to meet. Nelson always had a story and helping hand for the last 20 plus years. It was an honor to know him and he always had a story and a smile. God bless.
I'm so sorry to hear about your dad, Dave and Bob. I'm sure he will be missed a great deal. I remember him taking us all to watch the stock car races a couple times when were younger.
Remembering good times with the Taylor family as my mother Mildred and Nelson's mother Florence were dear girlfriends to each other. Thinking of Bill and Bob and wishing them peace going forward.
Dear Taylor Family, Each visit to the shop was an adventure of stories with your Dad. Hope your memories help in such a sad time. And Bob your Dad said he would pass on your Grade 9 pictures, too. Prayers and peace.

So sorry to hear of Nelson's passing. He was a great man and I enjoyed all of our conversation's over the years. I will miss visiting him and hearing all of his stories. He was a staple in the community and many people and businesses will be lost without him and the wonderful service he provided.
To the Taylor family, your dear father will long be remembered by the many folks he helped through his 52 years of his Taylor’s Sales and Service.
There was nothing he could not fix, no part he could not find.
Hubby enjoyed many visits with him through the years, and always came home with another story!
What an icon! Long be remembered, and sadly missed by many.

We are so sorry to hear of Nelson's passing. He was a unique individual, very knowledgeable, always ready for a chat and ready to help anyone. We will miss his navy SUV travelling on the North Line. RIP Nelson...
Being an old class mate I knew Nelson “Neiiy. In High School he excelled in track and field where he set a record for pole-vaulting which might even stand today. He never got involved in other sports, he was too busy working or partying. A busy man but always enjoyed a conversation.
Always enjoyed buying (visiting) Nelson. When I went out I was prepared for at lest a half hour or more in conversations. Nelson has helped me numerous times. I will miss him greatly. He was an icon in the area.
