A Royal Canadian Legion Service will be conducted on Thursday Nopvember 8, 2018 at 5:45 PM.
Visitation will be held on Thursday from 6:00 - 9:00 PM, and on Friday one hour prior to the service.
Jack William Hayes of RR3, Lucknow died at Kincardine Hospital on November 3rd, 2018 at the age of 66. Beloved husband of Rose (Wain) for 44 years. Dear son of Marion Hayes of Goderich. Missed by his children Jim of Kincardine, Art & Denise of Ailsa Craig, and Mary Beth at home. Loved papa of Samantha, Julie, and Julie's brother Harlan. Survived by his siblings Betty & Tom Brown of Owen Sound, Kathy & Maurice Thiebault of Linwood, Maurice & Lorna of Alberta, Linda & John Ashworth of London, and Sue & Len Kunkel of Mitchell, and by his in laws John & Dianne Wain of Auburn, Cynthia & Bill Kolkman of Alberta, Sarah & Jeff Cox of Bracebridge. Predeceased by his father James, brother Allen, and his in laws Sam & Phyllis Wain, sister in law Mary Wain, brothers in law Fred Wain and Rick Brown. Jack was a long time dedicated member of the Royal Canadian Legion Lucknow Branch. He loved his family. He could often be found puttering away on projects, wandering through the fields or relaxing as he mowed the lawn. A Legion Branch 309 service will be conducted at MacKenzie & McCreath Funeral Home, Lucknow on Thursday November 8, 2018 at 5:45 PM. Visitation will be held on Thursday from 6:00 - 9:00 PM, and on Friday 1 hour prior to the funeral service which is conducted at 12:00 PM.

Please accept my sincere condolences for your loss. I enjoyed working with Jack as part of Advantage Seed Growers amd Processors Inc. I am certain that his good will and knowledge will be missed by all the shareholders in the Company.
Please accept my deepest sympathy for the sudden passing of Jack. He was our daughter Nadine's father-in-law and Papa to our grandaughter, Julie. He was helpful to us at tax-time, as he completed our tax returns. He will always be fondly remembered by our Brownrigg family.
